About Us

Who Are We?

We are Honey and Jonah Brown. We are the work at home, homeschooling parents of five children under the age of 12.

Meet Honey

I have been using computers for much of the last 22 years and in that time I have enjoyed creating newsletters, e-books, and various other things. I have been blogging over at Sunflower Schoolhouse for the past seven years about our family and our homeschooling adventures. I have always loved research, creating directories, and finding resources to share with others. My new found love is graphic design which I have greatly enjoyed watching grow into our small home business over the last few years.

Meet Jonah

Jonah is my amazing husband and he has been working with computers for over 17 years. He can take them apart and put them back together in his sleep. He is experienced in all the main operating systems (Windows, Mac, and Linux). He is well versed in the current web browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome, and Opera). He has indepth knowledge of a variety of content management systems and blog platforms (WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla). He has some experience in hand programming, but lately he has been working behind the scenes coding, managing the servers, and providing technical help and support as needed. His passion is creating Biblical animations for our children.

What Is Our Mission?

Honeycomb Design Studio started as a simple idea over coffee time one morning and the concept has evolved into so much more than we had originally dreamed. It is our desire to load this place to overflowing with resources that will help make your blogging, social media, and online experience easier and more enjoyable.
